Once you complete your UCOR and requirements, you will need to take courses with a THRS prefix to avoid having duplicate titles and to risk losing credit. Many of these are cross-listed with UCOR and courses. If you have questions, email the chair. There are codes in the university catalog course descriptions for THRS courses which indicate the specialization for which a course will count.
Brochures with lists of courses for each area of specialization are available in the departmental office, which can also be helpful. As a minor you are qualified to take them, but you need to get in touch with the chair for assistance in registering for these courses.
The benefit of these courses is that they are just for majors and minors and are not part of the Core.
